Home is..[Pt. 2]

She made me her MOH.
You know.
That pesky little thing.
What is it.. Maid of Honor.
Yeah.
She sprung it on me out of the blue, too!
That sneaky little....
Oh well.
I guess I set myself up for that one. I only ASKED her if she needed help w/ the wedding.
Ha! I feel so important and yet not so much; I don't even know what I'm supposed to be doing!! lol
And then she made me try on bride's maids' dresses.
THAT was fascinating.
I'm a size 4..

After Dress Shopping we had 'dinner' and they dropped me off at home.
I was just in time to sit around for about an hour before Vincent got off work to come out and play!
Vincent's so awesome.
No, really.
We always do fun stuff.
ALWAYS.
Tonight we went out to the Japanese restaurant around the corner from my house and had plum wine, then we went up to the local Wild Wings and (I) had another drink. He ate more than he drank.
1. I wasn't that hungry.
2. He was driving.
Then after that we went to Walmart and bought a wireless router for my house.
This time tomorrow we'll officially no longer have to mooch off of our neighbors' wireless connection.
Hey wait.....
I can probably use that for my DS...
SWEET..!!!!
Style Savvy just isn't as much fun anymore if you can't use the wireless function..
After making my $50 purchase we bought one of the many (offensively stupid) Valentine's Day balloons  floating around the store and put it to good use by taking helium whippets and making each other laugh like crazy by sounding stupid.
All in all, I think it was a rather successful evening.

Heck I'd do it again.

Good Night.

Home is..[Pt. 1]

You notice I have the tendency to label these things in Parts.
You're quite observant. I like that.
Yes.
I do.
Do the subsequent parts always follow those that came previously?
No.
Not always.
But AT SOME POINT
they will.
You'll just have to keep coming back for updates, now won't you?

Yeah.. You see what I did there...

I've only eaten a donut today... *hiccup*

Mommy isn't feeling her best;
So I came home yesterday after class.
I don't have classes on Fridays, which means that my weekends start a day ahead of everyone else's, which means that I get to get a jump on the festivities(!)
You would think...
But instead I preferred to go ahead and forego the crap this weekend, and be around the people who mean SO much to me.
School'll make you reevaluate things that way..
Hence, I came home.
So I decided that I'd make Mommy some chicken noodle from scratch.
I just need to go get the carrots and onion and celery.

Tyler wants me to go Dress Shopping with her and her mom today.
This is going to be fun.
I've never been with the bride when she's actually ACQUIRING The Dress.
However, I'm not too certain what I'm getting myself into exactly.
I'm all for shopping... when I'M the one doing it.
Watching someone else shop is going to be a little weird....
But before I could say anything, she said that she wanted (needed? idk.) my 'fashionable opinion'.
I laughed.
Oh Ty...
But she's my friend, so if she needs me to help her not look crazy on the Big Day, then a (passive) day of lace and frills it is.

Good Morning...[Pt.1]

So it's my first time posting...
Like EVER.
The story goes like this:

Someone suggested I start a blog.

   The End.

Best fairy tale ever, yeah?
I thought so too.
So now I'm here out among all the millions of people looking to get their point across to millions of other people with nothing to go by, and no hand-holding, and no idea what I'm doing or what to say or what anyone will think about anything that I do (or don't) say.
It's almost a refreshing feeling...
So anyway.
I'll say a little something about myself. I know I have the 'About Me' section to do that but that's going to be rather generic. Just a quick scope. No, the ones to see this blog first (you) get to sit in for a few of the up-close-and-personal stuff.
I draw. I like it. A lot.
I enjoy shopping. A. LOT.
Btdubbs I'm female. I notice a lot of gender neutral/ambiguity going on a lot on the Internet these days (like that's cool or something) and it's MAD frustrating. Don't ask me why. Even I don't know. It just is.
I'm a Graphic Design student. I used to be a Psych Major, but that soon got old. Too much 'clerical' and not enough 'helping'. So now I do design. I don't know why I ever hoped to do differently; art's always been my THING, ya know? Like, for me, it just HAPPENS. Everyone's like 'Oh how'd you do that?! Oh that's so cool! Oh I wish I could do that! Can you teach me?'.
No.
Thanks.
But, No.
I literally cannot communicate to someone, in an instructional manner, how to do over 7/8ths of the stuff that I do... I can tell someone what to do. Teach, I cannot.
I sometimes envy my Education Major-friends.
I'm WAY into fashion.
Stop. Before you judge.
No, this isn't necessarily another 'Fashion Blog' with lots of pics of me in outfits (will there be SOME? Maybe.) and talking a whole lot of NOTHING about the same thing that EVERYONE else is talking about. It's not my intention to add to all the noise. There are some actually REALLY good blogs like that out there, and I don't think I have the power to stand out that way, that much.
But I DO love fashion.
In fact, I REALLY want to work as a Graphic Designer in the fashion industry.
We'll see how that goes...
That's all for now..
I'm in class and I think my professor's 'eyeing' me....
Good Night.
